Fall Wedding – Handmade with Love

This post is long overdue but when I made these wedding invitations my blog was not up & running yet. I decided to go ahead and share a few of the handmade items that I did for my son’s wedding this past October. They wanted a very simple and quaint family gathering at one of their favorite outdoor spots. We had a wonderful time, beautiful weather and all of the wedding decorations turned out awesome. It was a true family affair!

I had fun with the vintage buttons (see below) and added them to a photo collage that hung like a clothesline with clothes pins at the gift area. We also decorated the picnic tables with dark brown Burlap (with fun centerpieces and fresh flowers). Hay bales were used for the gift area and for seating under the big Pine Trees. Here is a sampling of some of the items that I made (please remember I am terrible with a camera).
